AI features and allowances
Every AI feature of your marketplace on one page - what each one does, how to switch it on, and how much of your plan's monthly AI you've used.
All the AI on your marketplace is managed from one page in the admin panel. It lists each feature with its switch, says where visitors and sellers will see it, and shows how much of this month’s allowance you’ve used.
Open the AI page
In the admin panel sidebar, open AI features (near the top, in the AI section) and click Overview. The sidebar shows how many AI features are on, for example 3 on. The links under it (AI search, Listings from a photo, AI pre-screening) jump straight to that feature’s card.
To switch a feature on or off, use its switch and click Save changes in the bar at the bottom.
The features
For your visitors and sellers

The AI page builder has its own card at the top of the page, with Open the page builder when your plan includes it.
Which plan includes what
AI search and listings from a photo work on every plan, including the free trial, with the Nova theme. The others come with the plans:

A feature your plan doesn’t include shows the smallest plan that does, for example Included in the Professional plan and up, with a See plans link. The features a plan includes are off until you switch them on.
On an older plan that’s no longer sold, the AI page shows which features your site has. Ask us through Support if you’d like to move to one of the current plans.
Monthly allowances
Each feature has a monthly allowance that depends on your plan. It starts again on the first day of each month, and what you don’t use doesn’t carry over.

The cards show your own numbers. A feature that’s on shows this month’s use, for example 312 of 2,000 searches this month, with a bar. A feature that’s off shows what your plan includes, for example Your plan includes 500 listings from a photo a month. The page builder card shows how much of this month’s AI you’ve used and when it resets.
When an allowance runs out, that feature stops until the next month and the rest of your site carries on as usual: searches run as typed, sellers fill in the post form themselves, and so on. See Compare plans to move to a bigger plan.
Feature by feature
Suggested replies
Suggested replies need messages between users. Until Messaging is on, the switch is greyed out with a link: Turn on messages between users first. Each seller can ask for up to 30 suggestions a day.
Translate listings automatically
Translation needs a second language. Until your site is multilingual, the switch is greyed out with Turn on a second language first. Listings are translated when they are posted or edited; the seller’s own text always stays the original.
AI pre-screening
When it’s on, the card has three more settings:

| Strictness | Lenient sends a listing to Moderation only for clear problems, Standard is the default, and Strict for anything that could be one. |
| Your own rules, in plain language | One idea per line, for example no weapons or only farm animals. The AI follows these as well as your banned words and its own checks. |
| AI hints in the moderation queue | For sites that approve every listing by hand anyway: AI checks each one and shows its reason next to the listings it would flag. Off unless you switch it on. |
Pre-screening checks listings that would go live straight away, and checks a live listing again when its seller changes the title, description or price. If the AI can’t check a listing in time, the listing waits in Moderation for you rather than going live unchecked. You decide on every held listing in Moderation.
With pre-screening on, messages between members also show a gentle warning next to a message that asks to pay outside your site, contains a link or asks for a code. It’s a note to the reader, never a block.
Switches you can’t change
- Set by Yclas support for your site. means our team has set that feature for you. Ask us through Support to change it.
- Needs the Nova theme. appears on AI search and listings from a photo when your site uses another theme. See Choose and change your theme.
- Available after the next update of your site. means the feature isn’t ready on your site yet. Check again later.
The same switches for suggested replies, listing translation and blog drafting are also on the pages where those features are used (Settings › General, Settings › Translations and Settings › SEO). They all change the same setting.
