Your Yclas account settings
Change the name, email, password and language of your Yclas account, add billing details and a VAT number for your receipts, and protect the account with two-step login.
Your Yclas account is the account you sign in with at yclas.com. It owns your sites, pays for their plans and opens support tickets. Keep it secure: whoever can sign in to it can open the admin panel of every site you run.
This is a different account from your administrator account on your marketplace. To change the name, picture or password members see on your site, see Your profile and the member area.
Open your account settings
Sign in at yclas.com and click Edit profile in the top menu. The page has these sections: Profile, Billing details, Payment card (once you’ve paid by card), Password, Two-step login and Profile picture.
Profile
| Field | What it’s for |
|---|---|
| Name | How we address you in emails and support replies. |
| The address you sign in with, and where we send receipts, renewal reminders and support replies. | |
| Language | The language your Yclas account is shown in. |
| Email signature, Description | Optional. |
| Receive emails (support, updates, renewals). | Whether we email you about support, updates and renewals. Keep it ticked so you don’t miss renewal reminders. |
Click Save profile.
Use an email address you’ll keep. Payment problems, trial reminders and password resets all go there, and if you can’t receive them your site could go offline without you noticing.
Billing details
The Address, City, Postal code, Country and VAT number you enter here are shown on your receipts. Fill them in before you pay so they appear on the receipt. Click Save billing details.
If you’re a VAT-registered business in the European Union, add your VAT number here (or at checkout) and no VAT is charged on your plan. See Plans and billing.
Payment card
Once you’ve paid by card, this section lets you replace it: click Change Card and enter the new card. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card number. The new card is used from your next renewal.
Password
Type the new password in New password and Repeat password, then click Change password.
Forgotten your password? Use the forgotten-password link on the yclas.com login page. If you can’t get in at all, see Locked out of the admin panel.
Two-step login
Two-step login asks for a six-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone each time you sign in, so your password alone isn’t enough to get in.
- Install Google Authenticator (or another authenticator app) on your phone.
- In Two-step login, click Turn on.
- Scan the QR code with the app.
- Type the code the app shows and confirm.
From now on you’ll be asked for a code after your password. To switch it off, click Turn off in the same section.
Two-step login on yclas.com protects your Yclas account only. Your administrator account on your marketplace has its own setting; see Two-step login with an authenticator app.
Profile picture
Click Upload a new picture to add or replace it, or Delete photo to remove it.
